Problem: How do I configure MS Outlook or any other third-party email application to receive my Imperial sanctioned email account?
Open MS Outlook, go to Tools > Options. Click on the Mail Setup tab. Choose E-mail Accounts. Choose to add a new e-mail account.
When prompted for Server Type, choose POP3 and click Next. Enter the required Information (Please contact a technician at Imperial Software Systems for the addresses of the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers) and click Next.
If you use an outgoing server that requires Authentication, before continuing onward, choose More Settings and view the Outgoing Server tab. Enter the proper login information and click OK. If you send and receive mail from a non-standard port, view the Advanced tab in the More Settings dialog box and enter the information in the appropriate fields.
